NCATS-N3C
National Center for Advancing Translational Science - National COVID Cohort Collaborative
The National COVID Cohort Collaborative (N3C) is a program that is systematically collecting COVID-19 clinical data from electronic health records of multiple institutions nationally. Collected clinical data are harmonized in the NCATS N3C Data Enclave which serves as a centralized resource for collaborative research. The goal of N3C is to provide a national data resource that can be rapidly utilized to address research needs related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Loyola participates in the N3C through its CTSA partnership with the University of Chicago's Institute of Translation Medicine (ITM).
Resource available to the following users:
NC3 resources are available to the Loyola University Chicago faculty.
Requests for NCATS-N3C data require:
- Approved Loyola University Chicago (LUC) Institutional Review Board (IRB) for retrospective/observational studies.
- Completion of required data use agreements, user code of conduct agreement and information security training. This information is available on the N3C web site.
